To collect cosmetics in Over the Hill, explore for reward crates, complete activities that list cosmetic rewards, and customize your vehicle at merchants or cabins. A complete location list for every cosmetic is not confirmed here. The checklist below covers identified Asgard Mountain rewards and selected cosmetic leads in other areas, without claiming a complete five-area collection route.
Cosmetics, vehicle upgrades and livery mods are separate tasks. An appearance item does not automatically change performance, and a compatibility list for one vehicle does not tell you where every item is earned.
Check the confirmed crate rewards
Asgard Mountain has 15 crates. The following rewards are listed for them; each listed crate also gives 5 Pebbles.
| Crate label | Cosmetic reward |
|---|---|
| Beacon Bar - Red & Blue | Beacon Bar - Red & Blue |
| Bear Plushie | Bear Plushie |
| Bull Bar Type 2 - Black | Bull Bar Type 2 - Black |
| Elk Horn | Elk Horn |
| Festive Tree | Festive Tree and Festive Tree (Bed) |
| Frying Pan | Frying Pan |
| Ice Picks | Ice Picks |
| Low Bull Bar | Low Bull Bar |
| Ram Skull | Ram Skull |
| Ropes | Ropes and Ropes (Rear bumper) |
| Side Festive Lights | Side Festive Lights |
| Side Steps - Silver | Side Steps - Silver |
| Skid Plate - Black | Skid Plate - Black |
| Square Lights | Square Lights |
| Traction Boards | Traction Boards |
The crate labels identify rewards, not coordinates. This page does not give the precise entrance, road approach or elevation for each crate. Use the checklist to keep track of which cosmetic outcomes you still need, while treating exact placement as unconfirmed.

A crate can provide more than one version of an accessory, as the Festive Tree and Ropes entries show. Keep the distinct names when recording what you have collected. Do not replace the listed front, rear or bed variants with a claim that all mounting positions are covered.

Search other areas for named accessories
| Cosmetic | Acquisition lead |
|---|---|
| Marshmallow Antenna | Crate in Tassili n’Ajjer Desert |
| Lucky Charm Antenna | Crate in Gimli Ridge |
| Bear Plushie Antenna | Crate in Gimli Ridge |
| UFO Antenna | Crate in Aurès Mountains |
| Sasquatch Antenna | Crate in Emerald Lake |
| Plane Antenna | Crate in Emerald Lake |
| Puppy Plushie Antenna | Tassili n’Idir Recovery |
| Expedition Tent, bed version | Glasir Wood Recovery |
| Boat, bed version | Fraser Research Boardwalk |
Keep mounting names intact. Bear Plushie Antenna is an antenna reward from Gimli Ridge; the Bear Plushie in the Asgard crate table is a different named item. These leads locate the activity or area, not an exact crate coordinate.
Include cosmetic activity rewards
Some rewards come from named activities rather than crates. In Asgard Mountain, the supported entries are:
| Activity | Activity type | Listed rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Midgar Way Recovery | Item recovery | 25 Pebbles, Skis & Snowboards, Skis & Snowboards (Bed) |
| Upland Carmanah Recovery | Item recovery | 25 Pebbles, Hot Dog |
| Wakefield Switchback Climb | Challenge Trail | 25 Pebbles, Bald Eagle Horn |
Complete the activity associated with the reward you need. Merely finding its starting location is not the same as receiving the completion reward. The October 16 update restored Pebbles rewards for repeated Challenge Trails and Recovery Missions, but that change does not establish repeated copies of every cosmetic reward.
Reach the correct collection area
Asgard Mountain is the third area of The Valhallas in Canada. Its access is the Tunnel to Asgard Mountain portal in Gimli Ridge. Keep the area name with your checklist, because an activity elsewhere in Canada does not automatically count toward this area’s crates.

Area orientation only; this is not an exact objective or wildlife pin.
The terrain image provides orientation for the area. It does not add crate pins or indicate a completed collection route. Exact positions for the listed rewards remain outside this guide’s verified coverage.
Apply the items at a customization stop
Merchants and cabins are the confirmed places to customize a vehicle with colors, accessories and cosmetics. After collecting an item, inspect the customization options for the vehicle you want to use.
Vehicle compatibility is not the same as an owned-item total. An item can appear among a vehicle’s options without being unlocked, and not every vehicle accepts the same mounting positions. A reliable current total for all cosmetics is not established here.
If you cannot see an expected accessory, first check the exact reward name and the vehicle being customized. This page does not establish a universal compatibility rule for every item. It also does not assign a purchase price to an item when the known route is a crate or activity reward.
Unlock distance liveries with the intended vehicle
Some liveries unlock through driving distance rather than crates. Each vehicle counts its own distance; driving one model does not progress another model’s distance liveries. The listed milestones come in 50-kilometre increments, with the final milestone varying by vehicle.
For example, The Trail Burner lists distance liveries at 50, 100, 150 and 200 kilometres. Das Mammoth adds a 250-kilometre milestone. These are livery progression requirements, not an extra condition for earning either vehicle from its Challenge Trail.
Separate base-game collecting from other appearance content
The Supporter Pack includes exclusive cosmetics as well as a special name tag and a unique campsite. Those exclusive items should not be silently treated as ordinary map-crate rewards. No complete item-by-item Supporter Pack checklist is established here.
Livery mods are a different route again. The launch documentation supports livery modding, while broader custom vehicle or map mod support is not established. A community livery’s appearance is not evidence for a base-game crate location.
Performance upgrades also have a different purpose. Engine, Tires and Suspension upgrades affect vehicle capabilities; cosmetic add-ons customize appearance. Do not spend Pebbles on a performance upgrade expecting it to satisfy a missing cosmetic entry unless the game explicitly identifies that relationship.
Keep an honest completion checklist
Record each listed item by name and by its activity. For the crate table, retain the Asgard Mountain area label. For the three activity rewards, retain the complete activity name. This avoids confusing Lower Midgar Trail, Midgar Ascent and Midgar Way Recovery, which are different objectives.
The current checklist is useful for collecting the confirmed rewards, but it is not a claim that every cosmetic in the game has been located. A complete five-area unlock list, precise crate coordinates and any hidden final cosmetic requirements remain unverified.
