Earn Pebbles Efficiently

Quick Answer

Update first, then repeat a Challenge Trail or Recovery Mission you can finish reliably. The October 16 patch restored repeat rewards. Collect nearby meteorites between runs; no universal fastest route is verified.

Repeat a Challenge Trail or Recovery Mission you can finish reliably, then collect convenient meteorites between runs. Update the game first: version 26.10.16_57fb763 fixed an issue that prevented these activities from paying Pebbles on subsequent completions. Advice based on a launch build where the second clear paid nothing is no longer a sound basis for a farming route.

There is no verified universal fastest route or measured Pebbles-per-minute winner here. Travel time, recovery time, and the trail you can complete consistently all affect your result. A repeatable activity near your current position is a better starting point than a promised exploit that depends on an unconfirmed reset rule.

Start with a repeatable objective

Choose an already completed trail or recovery whose approach you understand. Completing it again is now a supported way to earn currency. You do not need to leave every finished objective behind while looking for undiscovered rewards.

Use this short loop:

  1. Install the October 16 update or a later available update and restart the game.
  2. Select a familiar Challenge Trail or Recovery Mission.
  3. Finish the activity fully and observe the Pebbles reward.
  4. Repeat the same activity to check that subsequent completion pays correctly.
  5. Compare the time spent driving, recovering, and returning with another familiar objective.

Choose the activity with the better practical return for you. A larger listed reward can lose its advantage if you spend most of the session recovering an overturned vehicle. Do not use a single clean run as proof that the route will remain the fastest under every condition.

Collect meteorites along the route

Meteorites are another Pebbles source. Find one, attach a winch, and pull it out of the ground. Their glow makes them easier to spot from a distance at night, while the Meteorite Radar can help locate a fallen meteorite.

The important farming distinction is between a spawn point and a meteorite currently on the ground. A marked location is a possible landing site. It does not guarantee that a collectible meteorite will be waiting there every time you visit.

The October 16 update adjusted meteorite spawn points in every area. Treat an older route that strings together exact landing positions cautiously. Before committing a long drive, check whether there is actually a meteorite to extract.

A meteorite lists 15–80 Pebbles depending on its size. The payout is shared among the players who extract it, so that range is not a guaranteed personal reward for every participant.

In co-op, larger meteorites can need help from additional players. Cooperating on an extraction does not establish a higher individual farming rate: rewards are shared, and the group also spends time assembling and positioning vehicles. Use a group when it helps you complete the activity, without assuming that four players automatically means four times the Pebbles for each player.

Add discovery rewards without turning the run into a detour

Wildlife photography, crates, and exploration objectives can contribute rewards while you travel. For wildlife, use the Safari Camera and keep the animal centered, at an appropriate distance, and unobscured. A screenshot of an animal somewhere in the scene is not necessarily a valid compendium photograph.

The first visit to the Mechanic in each area also awards 10 Pebbles. Collect that reward when your route brings you there, but do not treat repeated visits to the same Mechanic as a farming loop.

For a currency session, prioritize discoveries close to the route you already planned. Driving across an entire area for one unexplored icon can be worthwhile for collection progress, but it is a different goal from earning the next upgrade efficiently.

Cabins are useful for repositioning because discovered cabins can be selected on the map as respawn points. Do not assume this causes nearby stashes to reset or creates a guaranteed currency exploit. The reliable repeatable mechanism is completing Trails and Recovery Missions after the reward fix.

Spend toward the next useful improvement

Set a purchase target before beginning the loop. Engine Stage 2 costs 25 Pebbles, and Engine Stage 3 costs another 50. Those two purchases total 75 Pebbles on one vehicle, and Stage 3 requires Stage 2 on that same vehicle.

For a much larger target, all sixteen paid upgrade stages on one vehicle cost 675 Pebbles. You do not need that full amount before buying a useful first improvement; choose whether the session is funding one stage or the complete car.

That gives you a concrete stopping point. It also prevents a familiar mistake: earning enough for an improvement, buying parts for several different cars, and still leaving the vehicle you intended to use underdeveloped. Upgrades belong to individual vehicles.

If repeated activities still do not pay

Confirm that the game was updated and relaunched, then finish the objective fully once more. Record the activity name, game version, whether this was a repeated completion, and what happened to your Pebbles balance. Those details distinguish the fixed launch issue from a separate remaining problem.

A claim that all repeat rewards have been removed should not be inferred from one failed run. The October 16 changelog explicitly fixes subsequent completion rewards. If your updated game behaves differently, describe that specific failure instead of rebuilding a farming plan around outdated assumptions.
